2024 NHL Draft tracker: every selection for the Columbus Blue Jackets

The current year’s draft is set to happen in Las Vegas. The first round is scheduled for Friday, June 28th, starting at 7:00pm Eastern time. Rounds 2-7 are slated for Saturday, June 29th, commencing at 11:30am Eastern time.

As the event approaches, the Blue Jackets have a total of seven picks.

#CBJ will pick 4th, 36th*, 69th (nice), 86th, 101st, 133rd and 165th.

Their second-round pick has been conditionally traded to the Flyers, as suggested by Mark Scheig. After the first round concludes, the Jackets must decide whether to give the Flyers this pick or next year’s second-rounder.

Be on the lookout for trades during the weekend. There are rumors that the Jackets are actively looking to trade their #4 overall pick, aiming to make a significant impact under new GM Don Waddell.

Next week will be particularly eventful, with free agency starting on Monday. It is anticipated that the Blue Jackets will be extremely active, making every effort to revamp and enhance their roster ahead of the next season.
