Titans Must Improve in Red Zone
The Tennessee Titans have faced challenges scoring this season, particularly in the red zone.
Currently, the Titans are ranked 28th in the league, averaging just 17 points per game. Additionally, they convert only 48.2% of their red zone opportunities into touchdowns, placing them 28th in that category as well.
Quarterback Will Levis acknowledged the need for improvement in this area, emphasizing the importance of consistency. “We just have to be more consistent,” Levis said, as reported by team reporter Jim Wyatt. “We need to sustain drives and get into more manageable third-down situations. We’re ranked number one in third-and-11 or more, which is a good stat but also indicates we’re in that situation too often. We’ve got to be better in the red zone, turning field goals into touchdowns. I need to focus on my own performance—there were times I could’ve made a play or extended a drive. We just need to do a better job executing.”
Levis knows that the Titans’ offense revolves around his performance, and he’s aware he hasn’t met expectations. If he doesn’t improve, the team may look for a new quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft or via free agency with a veteran option.
