The Missouri football team dominated SEC rival Mississippi State on Saturday, improving their record to 8-3 for the season. Toward the end of the game, head coach Eli Drinkwitz was seen expressing his frustration at the Bulldogs’ defense.

The incident occurred in the final two minutes, with Missouri leading 39-20. Drinkwitz warned that he would further embarrass the Bulldogs if they continued to taunt his players.

Missouri jumped to a strong 28-10 lead in the first half and maintained a comfortable margin for the win. Despite being behind, the Bulldogs kept chirping at the Tigers during the game.

On Missouri’s last drive, they advanced the ball to the one-yard line, presenting an opportunity to increase their lead. With under two minutes remaining, they successfully converted a fourth-and-three pass, which angered the Mississippi State defenders.

Following this play, a personal foul was called against the Bulldogs, prompting an intense response from Drinkwitz. As the trash talk from MSU continued, the head coach threatened to increase the score even more!

Eli Drinkwitz ultimately decided to stop the scoring, choosing to kneel the ball and let the clock run out to conclude the game. This isn’t the first occasion he has been seen using profanity directed at an opposing team from the sidelines.

In a previous matchup against Alabama, where Missouri suffered a 34-0 defeat, Drinkwitz directed some expletives at the Crimson Tide, which prompted them to further embarrass the Tigers in a somewhat petty response.

The Missouri football coach is known for standing up for his players. He felt insulted by the trash talk from Mississippi State, which triggered his angry reaction. Ultimately, calmer heads prevailed. The Tigers are now focused on finishing the season strong against Arkansas.
