After parting ways with Shawn Clark, the search for the next head coach of the Appalachian State Mountaineers begins. This marks just the second nationwide search for a head coach at Appalachian State in the past fifty years, and with one of the top jobs in the Group of Five now open, many candidates are likely to express interest.
