Demarcus Robinson’s hand injury not expected to prevent him from playing vs. Bills; Matthew Stafford should be ‘good to go’ despite sustaining lateral ankle sprain vs. Saints

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – On Monday, Rams head coach Sean McVay described wide receiver Demarcus Robinson’s injury as a “hand avulsion,” but he does not expect it to affect Robinson’s availability for the Week 14 home game against the Bills on Sunday (1:25 p.m. PT, FOX).

“We’ll just need to protect it and pad it, but he should be ready to go,” McVay stated.

In the Rams’ 21-14 victory over the Saints, Robinson had two receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown.

McVay also mentioned that quarterback Matthew Stafford is dealing with “a little lateral ankle sprain,” but it won’t disrupt his usual practice routine. McVay believes Stafford “should be fine” for Sunday’s game.

Stafford seemed to suffer the injury during the second quarter of last Sunday’s game against the Saints. After being brought down while attempting to throw an incomplete pass, he initially limped but managed to complete the game and threw two touchdowns in the second half to help secure the win.
