The Memphis Grizzlies will have their hands full in Tuesday’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Memphis Grizzlies are on fire, winning their last six games and climbing to third place in the Western Conference with a 14-7 record.

So far, the Grizzlies have faced the second-easiest schedule in the NBA, but they have a tough challenge ahead on Tuesday. After completing an undefeated four-game homestand, they now hit the road to face the Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavericks are spearheaded by superstar guard Luka Doncic, who is averaging 28.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game. Doncic made his return on Sunday after missing five games, helping lead the Mavs to their 13th victory of the season.

The Grizzlies will face a daunting task in trying to contain Doncic during Tuesday’s game, and it looks like things will be even more difficult for Memphis. After sitting out the last game due to shoulder soreness, Mavericks star guard Kyrie Irving is set to make his return against the Grizzlies.

Irving has established himself as one of the league’s premier guards for years, and his enhanced efficiency this season has been remarkable. He is currently averaging 24.8 points and 5.6 assists per game with impressive shooting splits of 50.4% from the field, 46.6% from three-point range, and 87.9% from the free-throw line.

The recent return of star point guard Ja Morant will definitely bolster the Grizzlies in their challenging matchup against Dallas, but fans can expect an exciting showdown between guards with Doncic and Irving facing off on the court.
