BREAKING: Vanderbilt Gifted offensive tackle to enter NCAA transfer portal

The Florida native continued his strong performance with 12 more starts at tackle for the Commodores during the 2024 season. He earned the Week 6 SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week award for his role in Vanderbilt’s upset victory over Alabama. Additionally, he was named the Outland Trophy Player of the Week and was placed on the Outland Trophy Watch List, which honors the nation’s top lineman each year.

Hansen’s transfer is expected to leave Vanderbilt’s offensive line even more depleted, as starters Steven Hubbard, Steven Losoya, and Xavier Castillo have all exhausted their eligibility.

According to a report from 247Sports, Hansen is looking to transfer to Miami, although several SEC schools are also anticipated to pursue the three-year starter. The report also suggested that Hansen might transition to offensive guard at his next institution.
