The Bearcats injected some talent into the defense on Friday.
CINCINNATI — The Bearcats football team bolstered their roster on Friday by adding transfer edge rusher Jaylon White-McClain from Old Dominion. The sophomore has two years of eligibility remaining after recording 41 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles last season.
White-McClain earned a career-high PFF grade of 72.2 overall and played 510 snaps. The 6-4, 254-pound hybrid defender could make a significant impact alongside Dontay Corleone, strengthening a pass rush that struggled last season and often left Corleone double-teamed.
He joins fellow upperclassmen Rob Jackson and Mikah Coleman as pass rushers and becomes the third transfer for Cincinnati in this recruiting cycle.
