Oregon State has experienced the loss of its second inside linebacker in just two days, as another player chooses to enter the NCAA transfer portal. This comes on the heels of a different starting inside linebacker announcing his transfer on Friday.

The player in question, a redshirt sophomore with two years of eligibility remaining, started 10 games this season and recorded 45 tackles—ranking third on the team behind safety Skyler Thomas and his fellow linebacker.

This latest transfer brings the total number of players from Oregon State’s 2024 roster seeking transfers to nine, including three key defensive starters: the previously mentioned linebacker and cornerback Andre Jordan Jr.

With both players leaving, the Beavers’ primary inside linebackers are now Dexter Foster and Aiden Sullivan. Fortunately, the transfer portal is rich with inside linebacker talent, and the team is also set to add an inside linebacker in their 2025 signing class, Jeremiah Ioane from Nevada.
