MAJOR COUP: I feel at home as Seattle Seahawks Confirm the capture of electric CB to boost Practice Squad

The Seahawks have re-signed cornerback Artie Burns to their practice squad just one day after he was waived by the team. Burns, who had spent much of the season on injured reserve, was activated from IR and returned to the roster last weekend, but did not play in Sunday’s game. After being waived on Tuesday, Burns cleared waivers and rejoined the team on Wednesday.

Originally a first-round pick by the Steelers in 2016, Burns has played in 18 games for the Seahawks over the past three seasons, starting one. The team had a spot available on their practice squad following the release of defensive end DeVere Levelston earlier this week.
