MAJOR COUP: Miami lands two specialists via the transfer portal to boost roster

Miami secured commitments from two specialists through the transfer portal on Saturday afternoon: Adam Booker and Carter Davis.

Booker, a 6’4″, 205-pound long snapper from Charlotte, started for two years, handling both short and long snaps with a 98 percent snap target grade.

Carter Davis, a kicker from FAU, also started for two years and was named the preseason College Football Network AAC Specialist of the Year. He recorded an 81 percent success rate on kickoffs and kicked the third-longest field goal in FAU history at 51 yards.

With the departure of starting long snapper Mason Napper and kicker Andy Borregales for next season, these additions help address key positions for Miami.
