HUGE BLOW: Alabama Crimson Tide confirm more Bad News as they officially loosed top running back to the transfer portal
The Alabama Crimson Tide have received more disappointing news, as their top running back, Justice Haynes, has officially entered the transfer portal and made a commitment to the Michigan Wolverines. Haynes, the only Alabama player still in the portal without a decision, announced his move to Michigan on Tuesday.
A sophomore, Haynes spent the past two seasons at Alabama, rushing for 616 yards and nine touchdowns on 104 carries. He had a standout 2024 season, accumulating 448 yards and seven touchdowns on 79 attempts, in addition to 17 receptions for 99 yards.
Before joining Alabama, Haynes was a highly touted five-star recruit from Buford High School in Georgia, ranking as one of the top running backs in the Crimson Tide’s 2023 recruiting class.
With Haynes’ commitment to Michigan, all Alabama players who entered the transfer portal this cycle have now made decisions about their destinations for the 2025 season.
