The NCAA transfer portal is now closed for new entries, except for players on postseason teams or those who are five days past their last postseason game. However, teams can still acquire players who are already in the portal.
On Friday, Utah took advantage of this opportunity by securing the commitment of Wyoming receiver Justin Stevenson.
The redshirt freshman played in 12 games this season, amassing 204 yards and three touchdowns on 17 catches. Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 192 pounds, Stevenson made most of his impact in November, with notable performances including three receptions for 45 yards and a touchdown against New Mexico, and four catches for 82 yards against Boise State.
With this addition, Stevenson becomes the fourth receiver transfer for the Utes this offseason, joining Otto Tia from Utah State, Ryan Davis from New Mexico, and Creed Whittemore from Mississippi State.
