Former Jacksonville State offensive tackle Kaiden Arnold announced on Tuesday via X that he will transfer to UCLA for the 2025 season. Arnold, who spent the last two seasons with the Gamecocks, will have two years of eligibility left.

The 6-foot-7 lineman played in 10 games as a true freshman in 2023, primarily contributing on special teams. He chose UCLA over offers from several Power 4 schools, including Nebraska, North Carolina, and West Virginia.

Arnold was unranked as a recruit in the 2023 class out of Escambia County High School in Atmore, Alabama. With two years of college experience, he is now ranked No. 1,480 overall and No. 109 among offensive tackles in the Transfer Portal Player Rankings.

He becomes UCLA’s 20th transfer commitment and seventh offensive lineman brought in through the portal. While the Bruins have seen 22 players depart, they currently rank No. 10 in On3’s Transfer Portal Team Rankings.

After ranking 114th in sacks allowed per game (2.8) last season, UCLA is looking to improve its offensive line and hopes to perform better in 2025 with a number of new additions.
