LOS ANGELES (KLTV) – Former Mount Pleasant Tiger Michael Kopech has signed a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers to bypass salary arbitration.
He will earn $ 5.2 million this season before hitting free agency.
The right-handed pitcher was acquired by the Dodgers from the White Sox at last season’s trade deadline. After joining the team, Kopech recorded an impressive 1.13 ERA over 24 innings, contributing six saves for the World Series champions.
