Iowa has lts second offensive line commit in the 2026 class.

News: Iowa has secured a highly sought-after offensive line recruit for the 2026 class, as Chanhassen (Minn.) three-star lineman Owen Linder announced his commitment to the Hawkeyes on Sunday following his visit during Junior Day.

Linder chose Iowa over offers from Kansas State and Kansas, as well as interest from Arkansas, Iowa State, Cal, and others.

He becomes the fourth commitment for Iowa’s 2026 class, joining four-star offensive lineman Carson Nielsen, four-star defensive back Marcello Vitti, and three-star quarterback Cash Herrera.

Standing at 6’5″ and weighing 280 pounds, Linder received his scholarship offer from Iowa last summer.

“I really liked the atmosphere at Iowa,” he shared. “It was the opening week, and the support for the team was fantastic. It was impressive to see them rebound in the second half after a challenging first half.”

“I really enjoy being there. The people are very friendly and supportive, and I cherish my connections with all of them.”

According to 247Sports, Linder ranks as the No. 28 offensive tackle in the 2026 class.
