Huge 2028 Prep Visits NC State Football Program After UNC
It might be a while before Trevor Howard, a freshman at Rolesville High School (N.C.), chooses a college. However, it wouldn’t be surprising if the 6-foot-3, 280-pound offensive lineman decides to stay local and join the NC State football program. Alternatively, he could consider playing for their rival, UNC.
While Howard’s recruitment process is still in its early stages, he recently got a chance to visit both NC State and UNC over the weekend, and it seems he enjoyed both experiences. On Saturday, he explored the Wolfpack’s facilities and shared his excitement through a message and photos on social media.

The day before, Howard visited Chapel Hill to check out the UNC football facilities, sharing his experience with this post:

NC State’s head football coach Dave Doeren and his staff have made only a few offers for the class of 2028, which is also true for first-year UNC head coach Bill Belichick and his team.
Given Trevor Howard’s location near both universities, along with his recent visits and his impressive performance as a freshman offensive lineman for a Rolesville team that had a 14-2 record, it seems likely that he could end up on the wishlists of both the Wolfpack and Tar Heels in the future.

For now, 2028 rankings and ratings aren’t yet available on major recruiting sites.
