According to ESPN’s Alexa Philippou, the Fever signed two-time All-Star forward Natasha Howard in free agency. The 33-year-old returns to the franchise that originally drafted her fifth overall in the 2014 WNBA Draft.
Howard will be entering her 12th season in the WNBA in 2025. Over her 11-year career, she has averaged 11.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game across 336 games with the Fever, Minnesota Lynx, Seattle Storm, New York Liberty, and Dallas Wings.
In 2024, Howard posted averages of 17.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 45.6% from the field in her second season with the Wings, although the team struggled, finishing 9-31 and missing the playoffs.

Howard now joins a young core in Indiana, including 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston. The Fever also re-signed veteran guard Kelsey Mitchell earlier this week.
