On3 Sports currently ranks Curtis as the No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 class and the No. 4 overall recruit in the country. So, where might he end up?
On3 Sports assessed the chances of each team pursuing Curtis, and Ohio State has the best odds of securing his commitment. The Buckeyes are given a 47.7% chance, followed by Georgia at 35.7%, Oregon at 4.4%, and Alabama at 2.2%.
These odds are promising for Ohio State, but the situation isn’t settled yet. Curtis is likely to receive significant NIL offers, and he’ll be considering his opportunities for playing time. Ohio State may already have Julian Sayin for another two or three years and Tavien St. Clair for three or four, which could limit immediate playing time for Curtis, although he might be drawn to the competition.
Ultimately, only time will tell, but for now, the Buckeyes hold the best chance of landing the top quarterback in the 2026 class.
