Jackson Repp Chooses South Carolina Gamecocks: A Commitment Fueled by Speed and Academic Excellence
COLUMBIA, SC – South Carolina football has secured one of the fastest athletes in the Class of 2025, with Jackson Repp, a wide receiver from Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville, announcing his commitment to the Gamecocks.
At 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds, Repp is more than just fast—he’s a well-rounded student-athlete. With an impressive 4.31-second 40-yard dash and a 4.33 GPA, he has excelled both on the field and in the classroom. His speed also shines on the track, where he recorded an outstanding 10.7-second 100-meter dash time.
Although he suffered a torn ACL early in his senior season, Repp remained a top priority for head coach Shane Beamer and wide receivers coach Mike Furrey. His performances at summer camps had already earned their attention, and they were determined to keep him on their radar.
“From the moment I visited South Carolina, I knew it was the right fit,” Repp said. “The coaching staff made me feel at home, and I’m excited to be part of what they’re building.”
Repp’s Journey to South Carolina: ✅ July 2024: Repp receives his first SEC offer from South Carolina after impressive camp performances. ✅ November 2024: He visits Columbia for an official trip, where he and his family are welcomed and see the Gamecocks’ vision firsthand. ✅ February 3, 2025: Repp makes his commitment official, potentially joining the team as a preferred walk-on.
With his elite speed, academic strength, and a relentless work ethic, Repp is poised to make an impact in Columbia. Whether he secures a scholarship or contributes as a walk-on, there’s no doubt that the Gamecocks have added a talented playmaker to their roster.
