New flexible payment plans available for six-game 2025 home schedule at Rice-Eccles Stadium
Utah Football enters its second season in the Big 12 in 2025, and with the schedule now released, the renewal period for season tickets has officially begun. The Utes will play six home games at Rice-Eccles Stadium, including five Big 12 matchups.
This year, multiple payment options are available, including a new six-month plan that extends payments through Sept. 15. Season ticket holders must commit by Tuesday, April 15, either by making a first payment or paying in full. Fans interested in purchasing new season tickets can join the waitlist.
Current season ticket holders will receive direct communication from the Utah Ticket Office with renewal details, and fans can also access information online regarding pricing, payment plans, and seating options.
Head coach Kyle Whittingham enters his 21st season leading Utah and his 32nd with the program. The Utes will host defending Big 12 champion Arizona State, along with Colorado, Texas Tech, Cincinnati, and Kansas State in conference play. The home opener is set for Sept. 6 against Cal Poly. With the expanded College Football Playoff format, Utah could potentially host a first-round CFP game at Rice-Eccles Stadium for the first time.
Excitement is building for the 2025 season, as fans return to one of the most electric home-field environments in college football. The Utes bring an 89-game sellout streak into the season and have won 33 of their last 39 home games, including unbeaten home campaigns in 2019, 2021, and 2022.
Under Whittingham, the Utes feature a balanced roster with key returning starters and an influx of top-tier talent. Defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley’s unit ranked third in the Big 12 last season, finishing second nationally in first downs allowed and third in opponent third-down conversion rate (27.4%). On offense, new coordinator Jason Beck takes over after leading a New Mexico attack that ranked fourth in FBS in total yards per game (484.3).
The offensive line returns all five starters, including All-America right tackle Spencer Fano and Freshman All-America left tackle Caleb Lomu, both of whom started every game in 2024. The offense also adds key transfers, including quarterback Devon Dampier and running back Wayshawn Parker.
Defensively, Utah brings back five starters, including three of its top four tacklers from 2024, as well as 2023 leading tackler Levani Damuni, who missed last season due to injury. Senior linebacker Lander Barton returns alongside fellow starters Logan Fano (DE), Elijah Davis (CB), Smith Snowden (CB), and Tao Johnson (S), with several key reserves who gained starting experience last year.
The home schedule kicks off on Sept. 6 against Cal Poly, sandwiched between road games at UCLA and Wyoming. Big 12 play begins on Sept. 20 with Texas Tech making its first-ever trip to Salt Lake City, renewing a series that hasn’t been played since 1973. Defending conference champion Arizona State visits on Oct. 11, as the Utes look to avenge last season’s 27-19 loss in Tempe.
Utah then hosts Colorado on Oct. 25, marking their 15th consecutive meeting, with the Utes having won 13 of the last 16 matchups. The following week, Cincinnati makes its first-ever trip to Rice-Eccles Stadium for a Nov. 1 showdown. The home finale on Nov. 22 features a historic first meeting between Utah and Kansas State.
