The Penn State Nittany Lions continue their pursuit of a national championship under head coach James Franklin. The team finished the season with a 13-3 record, including an 8-1 mark in Big Ten play. Their campaign ended with a loss to Oregon in the Big Ten Championship Game, followed by a semifinal defeat against Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff.
In the aftermath of the season, Penn State announced significant renovations to Beaver Stadium. According to Penn State Athletics, the program’s board of trustees has approved additional investments in the stadium. The next phase of the project will focus on the west side, involving the demolition of the press box and removal of upper deck sections.

Following the announcement of additional renovations, Penn State’s vice president of intercollegiate athletics, Pat Kraft, discussed the upcoming plans for Beaver Stadium.
“We are excited to unveil our vision for the west side of the Beaver Stadium Revitalization,” Kraft said. “The upgrades made on the east side after the 2023 season have significantly improved the fan experience and overall circulation throughout the stadium.”
Here are some of the planned renovations for Beaver Stadium:
- Premium seating options and enhanced amenities on the west side
- Suites within the 20,000-square-foot Schuyler Family Club
- Further upgrades to the 35,000-square-foot Marzano Club
- Enhanced press box seating and expanded coverage space
