Auburn’s coaching staff continues to make strides in recruiting, securing an official visit from one of the nation’s top defensive backs.
Four-star safety Bralan Womack, ranked as the No. 2 safety and No. 24 overall prospect in the 2026 recruiting class, has locked in a visit to Auburn for the weekend of June 13. The Flowood, Mississippi native is also the No. 2 player in his state. Womack has scheduled official visits to his four finalists: Florida on May 30, Texas A&M on June 6, Auburn on June 13, and Ohio State on June 20.
Auburn Targeting Tennessee DL Commit
The Tigers are also pushing to flip a key defensive line prospect. Four-star DL Tyson Bacon, committed to Tennessee since October 2024, remains a priority for Auburn’s coaching staff.
The Hoover, Alabama native is ranked as the No. 35 defensive lineman in the 2026 class and the No. 13 player in Alabama. His recruitment has gained momentum recently, with nearly 15 new offers in the past month.
Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze and defensive line coach Vontrell King-Williams recently visited Bacon at his high school, leaving a strong impression.
“It was great,” Bacon told Auburn Rivals. “Coach Freeze is a funny guy—he makes you feel really comfortable. Coach Vontrell has an impressive resume. I train with Jayson Jones, and he’s developed Freshman All-Americans and All-SEC players.”
Despite his commitment to Tennessee, Bacon remains open to exploring his options and is expected to visit Auburn in the coming months.
