The NC State football staff has been in pursuit of the Kernersville three-star for over a year.
East Forsyth High School (N.C.) junior wide receiver Jaire Richburg has confirmed an official visit to NC State football from June 20-22, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound three-star announced on Sunday.
Richburg, who has been on the Wolfpack’s radar since around the same time last February and recently made an unofficial visit to Raleigh, has also arranged an official visit to Virginia Tech for the end of May. He has received more than a dozen offers, including from UNC, Duke, South Carolina, Penn State, and Wake Forest.

“[Jaire Richburg] is among the elite wide receivers in the Atlantic Coast region,” commented CBS Sports Network college football recruiting analyst Tom Lemming last week. “He has a wide catch radius, aggressively goes after the ball in the air, displays impressive athleticism, and is quite physical at the line of scrimmage. He also has a 4.1 GPA.”

At the same time, although he plays as a “pass first” guard for East Forsyth’s basketball team, Richburg has recently reached the 1,000-point milestone in his high school basketball career.
