Auburn was one of the first to offer 2027 tight end Grant Haviland and while he’s taking things slow, the Tigers are one of the main schools he’s considering.

CARROLLTON, Georgia — Grant Haviland, a 2027 tight end, has recently received one of his initial offers from Auburn, marking the early stages of his recruitment. Although he already has an impressive list of offers, he’s not in a hurry to make a decision and is keeping all schools as potential options for now.

Having played at Milton (Ga.) alongside Auburn freshman Ryan Ghea, and now receiving one of his first offers from the Tigers, Haviland is definitely giving Auburn serious consideration.

Auburn University is proactively strengthening its tight end lineup by focusing on emerging talent from Milton High School in Georgia. Their latest target is 2027 prospect Grant Haviland, who recently received one of his initial offers from the Tigers. Standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 175 pounds, Haviland is in the early stages of his recruitment journey.

This strategic move follows Auburn’s successful acquisition of another Milton standout, four-star tight end Ryan Ghea, who committed to the Tigers’ 2025 class. Ghea, a 6-foot-5, 239-pound athlete, is recognized for his dual-threat capabilities as both a receiver and blocker. During his tenure at Milton High, he recorded 53 receptions for 651 yards and four touchdowns, leading his team to a Class 7A state championship.

Auburn’s emphasis on recruiting from Milton High underscores the program’s commitment to securing top-tier talent to enhance its offensive strategies. By identifying and pursuing promising athletes like Haviland and Ghea early in their high school careers, the Tigers aim to build a robust and dynamic tight end corps for future seasons.
