Latest Report: Oklahoma State Makes Final Decision on 2026 RB Kaydin ‘Batman’ Jones

The Cowboy coaching staff ignited the Bat signal on Tuesday.

As the 2025 recruiting cycle kicks off, it signals one major development in college football recruiting: the class of 2026 is officially on the radar. The Oklahoma State coaching staff has wasted no time, actively extending offers to the next wave of college football talent.

On Tuesday, Oklahoma State’s staff made a notable splash on social media. Nearly every member of the Cowboys’ coaching team shared a bat signal image featuring an orange glow in the background. This cryptic post sparked immediate curiosity among fans, leaving many puzzled. However, it didn’t take long for die-hard Oklahoma State supporters to unravel the mystery behind the masked message.

Kaydin ‘Batman’ Jones, a junior standout from Jenks High School, announced last week that he will visit Oklahoma State’s campus from April 25-27. The news immediately caught the attention of Cowboy Nation, with Oklahoma State fans flooding social media in response. Jones acknowledged the surge of support with a brief shoutout to O-State fans on Tuesday.

Jones is a rare talent—a player who doesn’t come around often. The buzz surrounding the 6-foot, 185-pound running back speaks volumes. His performance on the field backs it up, with an impressive 2,205 all-purpose yards as a sophomore and 1,739 all-purpose yards during his junior season.

Kaydin Jones is currently ranked as the No. 3 player in Oklahoma and the 18th-best running back nationally. The four-star prospect has the potential to earn a five-star rating by the end of his senior year.

Per Rivals, Jones holds 21 Division I offers. Early favorites in his recruitment include Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisville, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt. However, Oklahoma State has made strides recently, earning a spot among the five programs on Jones’ official visit schedule. His first stop will be in Stillwater on April 25.

Oklahoma State has a strong track record of developing top-tier running backs, and Jones has the talent to become the next star Cowboy ball carrier to light up the field.
