The Pittsburgh Steelers are reportedly among the top contenders to sign Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb when he becomes a free agent next month.
Chubb, a four-time Pro Bowler, has had a strong record against the Cincinnati Bengals, boasting an 8-3 record in 11 games, with an average of 4.97 yards per carry and eight touchdowns. However, Chubb is set to hit free agency after a season interrupted by injury. After returning from a torn ACL, Chubb suffered a broken foot in December, which limited his performance.

Despite these setbacks, Chubb remains a strong candidate for a bounce-back season and could provide stability to the Steelers’ backfield if he regains his previous form. Jeff Hathhorn of 97.3 The Fan in Pittsburgh reports that the Steelers are “very much interested” in Chubb, making him a potential addition to their roster.
Over his seven seasons, Chubb has accumulated 6,843 rushing yards and 51 touchdowns, showing that when healthy, he is one of the most productive running backs in the league. If the Steelers can secure him, they would add an experienced and explosive player to their offense.
