Major Breaking: Georgia Gets Good News on Projected $1.2 Million Star

The crystal ball at On3 indicates that 5-star offensive tackle Jackson Cantwell has the highest likelihood of joining either the Missouri Tigers or Nebraska Cornhuskers. However, the Georgia Bulldogs are also in the mix. On Tuesday, On3’s Jeremy Johnson reported that Cantwell is set to visit Athens, Ga., on June 6.

“He’s confirmed his official visit to Georgia for June 6, according to On3’s Chad Simmons,” Johnson noted. “Cantwell has been a key target in the 2026 class for quite some time, and the Bulldogs have welcomed him to campus frequently throughout his recruitment.” In addition to Georgia, Cantwell will visit Missouri, the Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, and Oregon Ducks in May or June, with a visit to Ohio State planned for a yet-to-be-determined date.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Cantwell is recognized as the top offensive tackle and the overall No. 1 prospect in the 2026 recruiting class. He is also the highest-rated tackle and prospect in the On3 rankings, which projected his NIL value to be $ 1.2 million. Georgia currently has five solid commitments for the 2026 class, three of which are 4-star prospects, although they do not have a 5-star recruit committed at this time. Although Georgia is still in pursuit of 5-star quarterback Jared Curtis, he is no longer committed to the Bulldogs. Standing 6-foot-7 and weighing 300 pounds, Cantwell will compete in his senior year at Nixa High School in Nixa, Mo.
