Jaxx DeJean, one of the top athlete prospects in the 2026 recruiting class, has locked in a visit to Missouri. This is another exciting development for Eli Drinkwitz and his coaching staff as they continue to build their recruiting class.
According to Sean Bock of 247Sports, DeJean will visit Columbia on March 15th, coinciding with the Tigers’ tenth spring practice.
Rated as a 5-star prospect and the No. 4 athlete in the 2026 class by 247Sports’ composite ranking, DeJean is the younger brother of Super Bowl champion cornerback Cooper DeJean.

DeJean, a 6-foot-6, 205-pound athlete from Odebolt-Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (OABCIG) High School in Odebolt, Iowa, is known for his versatility. He has played various positions, including quarterback, wide receiver, and cornerback.
In 2024, DeJean helped lead the Falcons to an 8-2 regular season and a spot in the state playoffs. In addition to football, he also participates in basketball, baseball, and track and field.
This spring, DeJean is also set to visit Iowa, his home-state school and his brother’s alma mater, as well as Michigan.
With just one commitment so far for the 2026 class, Missouri will need a strong spring and summer recruiting effort to stay among the nation’s top classes.
