Nashville Predators Acquire 2026 Fifth-Round Pick from Hurricanes in Exchange for Mark Jankowski

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 7, 2025) – Nashville Predators General Manager Barry Trotz announced that the team has acquired Carolina’s own fifth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft in a trade that sends forward Mark Jankowski to the Hurricanes.

With this move, Nashville now holds nine picks in the 2026 NHL Draft, including two selections in the second, fourth, and fifth rounds, along with one pick in the first, third, and seventh rounds. Looking ahead, the Predators have stockpiled 14 picks in the first three rounds over the next three NHL Drafts, featuring three first-rounders and two second-round selections in the 2025 NHL Draft.
