Commanders Are Narrowing the Gap with Eagles After Free Agency

The Washington Commanders are in pursuit of the Philadelphia Eagles for dominance in the NFC.

The Commanders aim to compete with the Eagles throughout the year with hopes of representing the NFC in the Super Bowl.

ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky believes that Washington is closing the gap with Philadelphia following their moves in free agency.

“[The Commanders] have closed the gap. It’s still a significant one, but it’s smaller now… I really like the moves they’ve made, especially the trade for Laremy Tunsil,” Orlovsky said.

Orlovsky also views the Los Angeles Rams as the Eagles’ biggest threat in the NFC and acknowledges that Philadelphia remains superior in both the offensive and defensive lines, even after losing players like Josh Sweat and Milton Williams.

However, the Commanders are now closer to a championship than they were before, and that’s their current focus.
