Eagles Star Projected To Land $40 Million Deal

Eagles Star Expected to Land $40 Million Deal

The offseason is shaping up to be a lucrative one for a key member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning team, as free agency has been buzzing with activity.

One of the standout moves for the Eagles last year was signing Mekhi Becton, who spent four years with the New York Jets before making a strong comeback in Philadelphia. After a stellar season, Becton is now one of the top offensive linemen on the open market.

Though he hasn’t finalized a deal yet, a return to the Eagles remains a possibility. One thing is clear, though: Becton is poised for a big payday after an impressive performance. Spotrac estimates his market value to be around $40 million over four years.

Given that he’s only 25 and coming off a strong season, this projection seems fair. The Eagles could certainly use him back, as their offensive line was the best in the league in 2024, with Becton playing a key role.

Philadelphia has been active in free agency, adding players like AJ Dillon and Adoree’ Jackson while losing some key figures such as Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, and Darius Slay.

With several months still to go until the start of the season, it will be interesting to see if the Eagles can come to terms with Becton.
