Top 2026 Recruit Carter Meadows Plans Visit with South Carolina Gamecocks
Carter Meadows, a highly-rated EDGE prospect in the 2026 class, has arranged a visit with the South Carolina Gamecocks.
As the 2026 recruiting cycle gains momentum, players are finalizing their official summer visits and planning their spring trips. One of the key targets for South Carolina is EDGE Carter Meadows, who has confirmed a visit to the Gamecocks.
In addition to South Carolina, Meadows will be visiting Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, and Stanford.
Rated as a four-star prospect, Meadows is ranked as the 98th-best player overall, the 11th-best EDGE, and the top player from Washington, D.C., according to composite rankings. South Carolina was the first SEC school to extend an offer to Meadows, with other major programs soon following suit.
The Gamecocks have seen success recently with EDGE players, such as Kyle Kennard and Dylan Stewart, who impressed during the 2024 college football season. South Carolina has also secured a commitment from another 2026 EDGE prospect, Keenan Britt.
