Breaking News: Islanders Lands a Massive 6’4, 214-pound forward “phenomenon”

The New York Islanders have announced the signing of Gleb Veremyev to a two-year entry-level contract that will commence in the 2025-26 season.

At 21 years old, Veremyev recorded 17 points (nine goals and eight assists) in 37 games during his junior year at Colorado College. The 6’4″, 214-pound forward played a total of 88 games over three seasons with the Tigers, accumulating 52 points (26 goals and 26 assists).

Before his time in college, Veremyev spent two seasons with the Lincoln Stars in the United States Hockey League, where he amassed 21 goals, 20 assists, and 255 penalty minutes across 100 games. Hailing from Sayreville, NJ, Veremyev also played in parts of two seasons with the New Jersey Rockets.
