4-Star Recruit Sets Official Visits with USC Trojans

4-Star Recruit Xavier Tiller Plans Official Visits with USC, Auburn, Alabama, and Florida State

Xavier Tiller, a four-star tight end from Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Ga., has scheduled four official visits with top college football programs: USC, Alabama, Auburn, and Florida State. Tiller de-committed from Texas A&M in February.

Ranked as the No. 185 prospect, No. 10 tight end, and No. 24 player in Georgia according to On3 Industry Rankings, Tiller has set dates to visit Alabama on May 30, Auburn on June 6, Florida State on June 13, and USC on June 20.

“I’ve visited each of these schools except for USC, so that’s the new one for me,” Tiller shared with On3. “I’ve got official visits scheduled to all four, and I’ll continue to look at these schools and a few others.”

Tiller initially committed to Texas A&M in November but reopened his recruitment last month, allowing USC to enter the picture. The Trojans’ new tight ends coach, Chad Savage, has made a strong impression on Tiller by building a solid relationship.

“They hired a new tight ends coach (Chad Savage) and he reached out to me on X, and we’ve been talking ever since,” Tiller said. “I’m excited to visit because I’ve never really looked at them before.”

The Georgia native is particularly interested in two SEC rivals, Auburn and Alabama. Tiller has visited Auburn at least five times, including for Junior Day in January, and has developed a strong bond with Tigers tight ends coach Ben Aigamaua.

“Auburn is definitely one of my top schools,” Tiller said. “Coach Ben (Aigamaua) and Coach Freeze are really pushing for me. Coach Ben reaches out every day and talks about how badly they need me, not just want me. Coach Freeze is pushing even harder now.”
