Basketball World Massive Responds to Cooper Flagg’s Performance in Duke-Alabama Game

Cooper Flagg scored 16 points in Duke’s victory over Alabama. On Saturday night, the Duke Blue Devils faced Alabama in the Elite 8.

Duke secured an 85-65 win to advance to the Final Four.

Flagg finished with 16 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and one block, shooting 6/16 from the field and 1/2 from beyond the arc.

Many took to social media to comment on his performance.

John Fanta: “Cooper. Flagg. Says. Goodnight. Duke handled the game pressure like champions. Incredible defensive effort. The nation’s highest-scoring team is at just 58 points with 2:52 left.”

Jeff Goodman: “In only his third season after taking over from Coach K, Jon Scheyer has led Duke to the Final Four. Cooper Flagg may be the NPOY and the No. 1 pick, but he’s getting plenty of support from a team Scheyer built around him. Freshmen Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach were excellent tonight, and Tyrese Proctor continues to shoot lights out.”

Patrick Beverley: “Cooper Flagg is the real deal. And he’s got clamps. @PatBevPod”

Skip Bayless: “Cooper Flagg was a little over-amped early, a bit shaky, unsure of when to attack, and at times overly unselfish, but he’ll figure it out.”

@CBKReport: “Cooper Flagg is the best one-and-done player of all time.”

@Three_Cone: “Cooper Flagg is truly elite at everything.”

Billy Reinhardt: “Cooper Flagg & Khaman Maluach form one of the greatest interior defensive duos in college basketball history.”

@PrivacySetting1: “I’m not sure how to break it to everyone on CBS, but I don’t think Cooper Flagg will be the piece that wins NBA championships. CBS seems to think he’s the next Michael Jordan. I think he’ll be good, but nowhere near all the hype.”

NCAA March Madness: “Cooper Flagg putting the finishing touches on a brilliant @DukeMBB performance 🪄”
