The 24-year-old has earned several league and team recognitions and was named a 2025 Walter Brown Award Semifinalist
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the team has signed forward Harrison Scott to a one-year entry-level contract, effective for the 2025-26 season. For the remainder of the 2024-25 season, Scott will join the Texas Stars in the American Hockey League.
The 24-year-old recently completed his senior year at the University of Maine in Orono, where he amassed a total of 35 points (18 goals and 17 assists) in 38 games, serving as the team’s alternate captain. His season totals of 18 goals, 17 assists, and 35 points were all personal bests, making him the top scorer on his team.
Standing at 6 feet tall and weighing 190 pounds, Scott played two seasons at Bentley University from 2021-22 to 2022-23, followed by two seasons at the University of Maine from 2023-24 to 2024-25. Over the course of 140 NCAA games, he notched 88 points (45 goals and 43 assists). Scott received several accolades during his college career, including being named a 2025 Walter Brown Award Semifinalist and earning Hockey East Co-Player of the Week on November 4, 2024, as well as Hockey East Player of the Week on October 21, 2024.
Before joining the NCAA, the San Jose, California native played the 2020-21 season with Amarillo in the NAHL and spent the 2019-20 season with Wenatchee in the BCHL. With Amarillo, he was among the team’s top scorers, recording 39 points (20 goals and 19 assists) during the regular season and contributing five points (three goals and two assists) in four playoff games. While with Wenatchee, he added 28 points (15 goals and 13 assists) in 48 regular-season games and played a key role in leading the Wild to the BCHL playoffs.
