REPORTS: Oklahoma State Football Hit with Devastating Update, “These Couldn’t Have Been Predicted”

Oklahoma State defensive end Collin Oliver’s season may be at risk after he sustained a left foot injury in the second quarter of a 39-31 overtime victory against Arkansas on Saturday.

Oliver was taken to the locker room following a quarterback pressure that led to an interception returned for a touchdown. After the game, head coach Mike Gundy indicated that he believes the senior is likely “done for the year.”

In the second half of OSU’s comeback win, Oliver was spotted using crutches and wearing a boot. He was replaced by redshirt senior Obi Ezeigbo, a Division II transfer, who finished the game with nine tackles (3.5 for loss) and two sacks.

Oliver’s absence will certainly have an impact on OSU (2-0) as they move forward. The former Edmond Santa Fe star was named to the All-Big 12 second team last season, recording 73 tackles (15.5 for loss) and six sacks.
