For the past few seasons, RJ Davis, one of the nation’s most dynamic scorers, has been at the forefront of the North Carolina Tar Heels’ efforts.
As they entered the NCAA Tournament, Davis and the Tar Heels aimed to capitalize on their late-season momentum; however, they faced disappointment with a first-round defeat against Ole Miss.
Although his last game with North Carolina didn’t conclude as he had envisioned, Davis will still be remembered for his outstanding five-year journey with the ACC program.
Following this final game, Davis shared some thrilling news on social media regarding his Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities.
He announced his partnership with GEICO, the well-known American auto insurance company.
“Me driving to the hoop?” Davis remarked. “No one’s safe. Me driving home? GEICO safe driving rewards. Let’s celebrate March Madness with some savings!”
Although RJ Davis’ NIL valuation remains undisclosed, On3 has disclosed an extensive list of partnerships that the UNC guard has secured.
During his time at North Carolina, Davis has signed NIL agreements with various brands, including Mondelez, Rhoback, JBL Audio, Hanes, Athletic Brewing Company, Wingstop, Keurig, Fortnite, Skims, Reebok, Marriott Hotels, and Simple Truth, among others.
In his last season at North Carolina, Davis averaged 17.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, making him the leading scorer for the Tar Heels.
