Another Veteran Transfer Joins NC State Football Program

NC State football has added another former Mountain West player to its 2025 roster.

Just an hour after head coach Dave Doeren and his staff secured a commitment from former Utah State transfer Cian Slone on Saturday, they added another edge rusher from the Mountain West. Sebastian Harsh, who played for rival Wyoming, announced his decision to join NC State, becoming a teammate of one of his former competitors.

Harsh, a 6-foot-3, 251-pound senior, is set to move across the country to spend his fifth and final season with the Wolfpack. After not playing as a freshman and missing his junior season due to injury, Harsh has played just two seasons on the field.

In his senior year, Harsh recorded 50 total tackles, including 30 solo stops. He also led his team with nine tackles for loss and added three sacks.

Harsh becomes the 12th transfer commitment for NC State in 2025, with the Wolfpack’s transfer class ranked No. 61 nationally by 247Sports.

He is also the third former Mountain West player to join the roster, following Slone and former Utah State offensive tackle Teague Andersen.
