The Georgia Bulldogs haven’t scheduled an official visit yet with four-star running back Carsyn Baker from Fairburn, Ga., but that hasn’t kept them out of the race. According to On3’s Jeremy Johnson, Baker named his top five schools on April 3, with Georgia making the cut alongside Clemson, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Florida State.
Baker has official visits lined up with Clemson, Ohio State, and Texas A&M for May and June. Johnson noted that Clemson is currently viewed as the frontrunner by On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, but Georgia remains very much in the mix.
The Bulldogs are still a factor thanks to multiple unofficial visits Baker has made to Athens. “Georgia continues to play a role in Baker’s recruitment despite not having an official visit locked in,” Johnson wrote. “In fact, Baker is set to return to Athens on Saturday for another unofficial visit. He’s already been on campus three times this year. Georgia’s culture keeps Baker coming back.”

Carsyn Baker shared with Jeremy Johnson why Georgia continues to draw his interest. “It’s really the brotherhood and how Coach [Josh] Crawford and Coach Smart have been recruiting me,” Baker said.
According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Baker is rated as the No. 14 running back in the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 23 prospect in the state of Georgia and the No. 175 overall recruit nationally.
