Kansas State Faces Setback as Sharpshooter Enters Transfer Portal
Veteran shooter Brendan Hausen is entering the transfer portal, according to Jon Rothstein. This marks another significant loss for Kansas State, which has already seen the departures of David N’Guessan and Coleman Hawkins. Hausen, known for his 3-point shooting, averaged 10.9 points per game with a 38.8 percent shooting rate from beyond the arc. While his shooting range was a key asset, his inconsistency at times hindered the Wildcats’ offense, creating an overreliance on scoring in the paint. His departure leaves Kansas State lacking in outside shooting options.
Kansas State's Brendan Hausen will enter the transfer portal, per his agent Drew Kelso.
Averaged 10.9 PPG and shot 38.8% from three-point range.
