Three-Star Offensive Lineman Picks North Dakota State Over SEC, Big Ten Offers
Tucker Thieneman, a highly sought-after three-star offensive lineman from Pewaukee, Wisconsin, has committed to North Dakota State, choosing the Bison over multiple offers from Power Five schools.
Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 305 pounds, Thieneman is projected to play tackle at NDSU. Considered one of the top 100 recruits in the nation, he had offers from Florida, Ole Miss, Maryland, and Missouri before deciding to commit to the Bison. North Dakota State extended its offer to him last November, and on Thursday, Thieneman informed the coaching staff of his decision. He had planned to visit Wyoming next week but ultimately chose NDSU.

Ranked as the seventh-best prospect in Wisconsin for the Class of 2026 by 247Sports, Thieneman is among a group of highly-rated recruits, with three of the top six already committed to Big Ten schools.
Thieneman’s commitment marks NDSU’s fourth for the Class of 2026 and the second offensive lineman, following Earl Brown from Pillager. He is also the second Wisconsin native in this recruiting class, joining Zach Hellendrung from Boyceville, who committed earlier this week.
Pewaukee, which competes in Wisconsin’s Division 3, posted a 4-5 record in 2024. Thieneman earned all-conference honors last season.
