Gonzaga has expressed interest in Arizona State transfer Adam Miller, adding to the growing list of talented guards the Bulldogs have contacted since the transfer portal opened last month.

Miller, a 6-foot-3 guard known for his outside shooting, entered the portal on Sunday and has already drawn attention from multiple high-major programs. This past season with Arizona State, he shot 42.9% from beyond the arc while averaging 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. He played 53 games over two seasons under head coach Bobby Hurley, starting in 51 of them, and battled through a hip pointer and oblique injury toward the end of the 2024–25 season.

Gonzaga got a close look at Miller earlier in the year when they faced Arizona State at the McCarthey Athletic Center. In that matchup, Miller contributed eight points, three assists, and three rebounds, including two made 3-pointers, as Gonzaga secured an 88–80 win on November 10. He also had a strong showing with 16 points against Santa Clara in the prior game.

Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Miller was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, choosing Illinois over several other top programs. After his freshman year with the Illini, he transferred to LSU but sat out the 2021–22 season due to an ACL injury. He returned to the court the following year, averaging 11.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists over 33 games for the Tigers.

With current guards Ryan Nembhard, Nolan Hickman, and Khalif Battle expected to graduate, Gonzaga is looking to reload in the backcourt. Braeden Smith is likely to step in as the starting point guard next season, and Emmanuel Innocenti could return to provide defensive depth on the perimeter.

Given their need for outside shooting, Miller’s sharp shooting and experience make him a potential fit for what Gonzaga is looking to add this offseason.
