“F* Those Guys”: Incoming Michigan OL Transfer Claims Ohio State Ghosted Him**
Brady Norton, an incoming transfer offensive lineman for Michigan, revealed that Ohio State stopped communicating with him after initially showing interest — only to reach out again once they learned Michigan had made an offer.
In a media session on Tuesday, Norton shared his journey from Cal Poly to Michigan. Over his two seasons with the Mustangs, he appeared in 15 games, starting 11 at left tackle. He was named an FCS All-American in 2024 and quickly became a sought-after prospect when he entered the transfer portal.

He said OSU reached out first, then “ghosted” him. When they found out U-M offered, they called too, which he felt was odd.

It turns out that Michigan wasn’t the only Big Ten school chasing the talented left tackle. Norton said that Ohio State had initially reached out to him, but according to him, the Buckeyes “ghosted” him during the recruiting process until Michigan made their move. By the time Ohio State reached out again, Norton had already committed to Michigan.
For Michigan fans, that’s certainly music to their ears.
This fall, the Wolverines have a chance to extend their dominance over Ohio State. With a four-game winning streak dating back to the 2021 season, Michigan is aiming for a fifth straight win when the two rivals meet in Ann Arbor on November 29th.
