The Hartfield Academy standout has already visited three of his four finalists unofficially. He plans to take official visits to each of these schools over the summer, with a return trip to Columbus for his official visit set for June 20.
Ohio State has a strong history of developing elite defensive backs and sending them to the NFL, and Womack has the potential to follow in their footsteps if he chooses the Buckeyes.
Head coach Ryan Day and his staff are heavily pursuing several top recruits, including five-star running back Savion Hiter, the nation’s No. 1 running back and the top player in Virginia. The Buckeyes are coming off a season in which they made a deep run to the National Championship in the inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff. With significant strides being made in their recruiting efforts, Ohio State is positioned for continued success in the years ahead.
