Purdue Women’s Basketball Adds Transfer from Former Arkansas Guard Kiki Smith

Former Arkansas guard Kiki Smith has announced she will be transferring to Purdue, marking a significant addition to the Boilermakers’ roster. Smith becomes the third transfer commitment for coach Katie Gearlds and the Purdue women’s basketball team this offseason.

Standing at 5-foot-7, Smith hails from Topeka, Kansas, and played one season with the Arkansas Razorbacks. During the 2024-25 season, she averaged 10.2 points and 2.0 assists per game. Smith was also a standout shooter, hitting 40.2% of her three-point attempts.

Smith demonstrated her scoring ability throughout her time at Arkansas, reaching double figures in 13 games, including three outings where she scored over 20 points.

Before transferring to Arkansas, Smith spent one season at Hutchinson Community College, where she helped lead the Blue Dragons to a perfect 37-0 record and an NJCAA national championship in 2024. During her time at Hutchinson, Smith averaged 17.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 steals, and 2.2 assists per game while shooting 44.4% from beyond the arc.

Smith joins former Boilermaker Madison Layden-Zay and ex-Northern Arizona guard Taylor Feldman as transfers to commit to Purdue this offseason.
