Breaking: North Dakota State Hit with Major Unveiling

FARGO, N.D. – On April 21, NDSU Athletics, in collaboration with Gate City Bank, celebrated the grand reopening of the Sunderland Family Football Office Complex at the Fargodome with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The renovations aim to elevate both the student-athlete and fan experience through vibrant LED lighting, tactile design features, and engaging displays.

“This renovation marks a major achievement for NDSU football, enhancing our recruitment efforts and creating an environment that boosts our athletes’ competitive advantage,” stated Matt Larsen, NDSU director of athletics.

The upgraded facility includes dynamic LED lighting that shifts colors to energize the space, as well as design elements inspired by the team’s recognizable green helmets, symbolizing NDSU’s agricultural roots and strengthening ties to the local community.

The new Bison championship legacy display allows fans and recruits to connect with the program’s history, showcasing its 18 national championship trophies and honoring Hall of Fame inductees who have been pivotal in NDSU football’s achievements. Unique design touches, such as football leather door handles, offer a tactile experience that enhances the atmosphere of the revitalized area.

“The updated football office reflects our dedication to excellence and provides an exceptional experience for our athletes and supporters. We appreciate Gate City Bank’s partnership in driving us forward,” said NDSU head football coach Tim Polasek.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the beginning of the final week of NDSU’s spring football activities, culminating in the Green and Gold Spring Showcase at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, April 25, where the 2024 national champions will receive their rings before the team’s concluding spring practice at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome.

Additionally, fans are welcome to attend the NDSU Locker Room Sale, starting at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 25, on the second floor of the Fargodome, conveniently located across from the newly renovated football office.

Gate City Bank has been a dedicated partner of North Dakota State University, playing a crucial role in enhancing the football program’s facilities and fan experience. Their support has included the construction of the Nodak Insurance Company Football Performance Complex and a fueling station at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex, along with significant investments in academic buildings and student initiatives.
