Titans Eye Jets Star in Bold Trade Proposal
The Tennessee Titans could make a splash in the NFL Draft by pulling off a trade to land a key offensive weapon from the New York Jets.
Bleacher Report’s Kristophe Knox proposes a deal in which the Titans send quarterback Will Levis and a fourth-round pick to the Jets in exchange for running back Breece Hall.
Knox suggests that in this hypothetical trade, the Jets would add Levis to their roster while moving on from Hall, a running back whose long-term future with the team is uncertain.
Hall, who has shown promise as a starting back when healthy, is heading into a contract year and might be at risk of being replaced by a younger prospect like Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty.
Although the Titans might not be the first team you’d think of when it comes to trading for Hall, he would definitely provide a boost to their backfield.
Tennessee already boasts a solid running back duo in Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears, but adding Hall could give the Titans a formidable rushing attack. His skills as both a runner and a receiver would complement offensive coordinator Brian Callahan’s system, and with Pollard potentially being a cap casualty by 2026, Hall could fill a key role moving forward.
At just 24 years old, Hall has one year left on his contract after being drafted in the second round in 2022. Last season, he rushed for 876 yards and five touchdowns, while also catching 57 passes for 483 yards and three touchdowns.
Pairing a dynamic player like Hall with rookie quarterback Cam Ward would provide a major boost to the Titans’ offense, easing Ward’s transition into the NFL and setting the team up for improvement in the 2025 season.
