Jets Add Star Defensive Lineman in Latest Mock Draft
Who will the New York Jets select with their No. 7 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft?
Many believe the Jets will have three main options at that spot: Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron, Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, and Missouri offensive tackle Armand Membou.
Membou could help fill the void left by the departures of Morgan Moses and Tyron Smith on the offensive line. Barron would address the gap created by D.J. Reed’s exit in free agency, while Warren would replace Tyler Conklin, who also left for a new team.
Any of these prospects would be a valuable addition for the Jets.
However, Lou Scataglia of NFL Spinzone recently predicted that Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham might unexpectedly fall to the Jets at No. 7. In his latest 2025 NFL mock draft, Scataglia projected Graham to New York instead of Barron, Membou, or Warren.
“Mason Graham falls into the New York Jets’ laps with the seventh pick in our latest 2025 NFL mock draft,” Scataglia wrote.
The challenge with this projection is that Graham is likely to be selected within the top five picks, and for good reason. He has the potential to be the top overall talent in the draft, a future cornerstone for a defensive line with his ability to stop the run and disrupt the passing game.
If Graham somehow drops to the Jets, it would be a game-changing pick for their future.
